This heater has been fitted to the 940 without aircon after 1990 but information on the range of Volvo heaters is difficult to find so you will need to positively identify the heater yourself. This can be done via a dealer, a forum, or by taking out your old unit for comparison. This aftermarket version has a flat top tank and looks a little different to the original. This will not adversely affect the fitting. The original fitting clip is not used to hold the tank in place in the heater box but the foam supplied will hold the heater suffficiently. If you have more information please let me know.
